National Hispanic Women’s Conference in Valley

National Hispanic Women’s Conference is the largest gathering of Latinas in the country.

The Hispanic Women’s Corporation (HWC) is hosting the 23rd National Hispanic Women’s Conference and Expo Oct. 9-10 at the Phoenix Convention Center. “Latina Power: CALL TO ACTION,” is this year’s theme. The two-day conference is the largest gathering of Latinas in the country and will provide leadership and professional development to more than 2,500 participants while raising funds for college scholarships to benefit Latino students. The Scholarship Benefit Luncheon on Oct. 10 will honor Rosa Rosales, national president of the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC).  For more information on the conference or to register, visit hispanicwomen.org or call (602) 954-7995.
