Mesa police console victims

Mesa Police Department received a donation of 50 stuffed bears dressed in police uniforms from Farmers Insurance agent Paul Flores to be given to children who suffer trauma, neglect, abuse or assault. Flores, a Phoenix native and father of an 8-year-old son, said he knows what receiving a perfect toy can mean to a child. The bears will be distributed through the city’s Victim Advocate Unit.
