New high school excels

10th-graders at Bioscience High School took the AIMS test for the first time and got the highest math scores in the Valley and the second-highest scores in the state for public (non-charter) schools. The science and math-intensive small school opened in August 2006. The is the first time a Phoenix Union High School District campus leads all the Valley's high schools in math. The school is located at 512 E. Pierce St.
